I met dane in october 1998 in a local bar he chatted me up for ages (just like he did with all the women he met). We quickly became a couple. Dane and my daughter Nicole quickly became best mates as dane was a big kid at heart himself. Our relationship wasn't perfect but we loved each other and got threw the bad times together, in march 1999 i found out i was pregnant with our son Shay, he was born on the 19th november 1999 Dane was over the moon his first child someone he could teach his silly ryhmes to and play football with. Shay is the double of his dad his smile and his silly expressions. Nicole classed dane as her dad he was there for her when she needed him. In june 2004 we split up we had a lot of arguements but we became good friends he would always ring me when he had a problem with anything. He adored Shay and Shay adored him. His untimely death has left a huge hole in Shays life and also his mam and dads and his sisters and brother. Dane was such a character, a joker and lived life to the full he will be missed greatly and the space he left will never be filled xxx
